Chapter 9. Serial Network Device Manager

The Menu Bar

The Menu Bar contains five items. Each is discussed in the sections that follow:

Target

After you select a device or device group from the list in the left panel, this

menu offers dialog boxes for viewing and configuring its (or their) properties.

The configuration choices are similar to the ones discussed in the

Administration, COM Port Management, and Port Operating Modes chapters,

as shown in the table below:

Item Action

System Info Lists all the settings that have been configured for the device.

General Settings This is similar to the browser-based page. See General,

page 13.

Network Settings This is similar to the browser-based page. See Network,

page 16.

ANMS Settings This is similar to the browser-based page. See ANMS,

page 19.

Log This is similar to the browser-based page. See Log, page 49.

Backup/Restore This is similar to the browser-based page. See Backup,

page 15.

Firmware Upgrade This is similar to the browser-based page. See Firmware,

page 24.

Serial Tunnel Select this item to build a Serial Tunnel connection between

two SN3101 units. See Serial Tunnel, page 28 for more

information on Serial Tunnels. See Serial Tunnel Creation,

page 74 for information on building Serial Tunnels.
